Creativity: The Unstoppable Tide

You might have heard the saying that creativity is like a river. But true creativity is more like a relentless tide — surging forward with an unstoppable, silent force, shaping the contours of the world around it. It never asks for directions. It doesn’t seek permission. It simply moves, carving its path as it goes
It gnaws at you — and can never be suppressed.
Yet, I’m often surprised by how many people on the internet, who call themselves writers or “content creators” seem to harbor a subtle disdain for the very act of writing. Then there are others who might enjoy it but seem to be purely playing a volume game, chasing the algorithm in hopes that some Medium editor might blow them a kiss and boost their story. Maybe what they really enjoy is not so much the act of writing itself, but the brief thrill of hitting publish.
Still, no matter how you spin it, writing is hard.
